This Author Spotlight is part of my Mystical Bites Anthology Blog Series, to promote authors involved in the anthology. Mystical Bites comes out August 14th.
Now here’s a little about Stacey Jaine McIntosh.
Stacey Jaine McIntosh was born in Perth, Western Australia where she still resides with her husband and four young children.
Although her first love has always been writing she once toyed with being a Cartographer and subsequently holds a Diploma in Spatial Information Services.
In 2011 she had her first short story Freya published in an anthology; nine more followed bringing the total up to ten. The latest two Shadows of Annwn and The Hunter Million are published in the CHBB Anthology Mystical Bites.
Stacey dedicated her novel Solstice to her mother who passed away unexpectedly in 2008, and she is currently working on several other novels simultaneously
When not with her family or writing she enjoys photography, genealogy, history, Arthurian myths and witchcraft.
About Stacey’s Stories in Mystical Bites
Both Shadows of Annwn and The Hunter Million were originally written as shoot-out pieces. A bunch of writers banded together and wrote like mad for seven days using the same prompt. Then we spent the next week critiquing. Rinse and repeat for three rounds. It was crazy, but highly productive, at least for a rough draft.
Her short story, Shadows of Annwn is not the average fairytale. Good doesn’t triumph over evil.
Her short story, The Hunter Million is a paranormal tale about a girl on an errand that doesn’t go as planned.
